      THIS INDENTURE made this Third day of August in the thirteenth yeare of the Reigne of our Sovereigne Lady Anne by the grace of God of Great Brittaine France & Ireland, Queen, Defender of the faith &c., and in the yeare of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and fourteen, Between WILLIAM ROWLEY of County of STAFFORD & MARY his Wife of one part and JOHN COOKE of County of LANCASTER of other part. Wittnesseth that WILLIAM ROWLEY and MARY his Wife for the summe of Five Shills: of lawful! money of Great Brittaine to them in hand paid by JOHN COOKE, by these presents doth demise bargaine seel sett & to farme lett unto JOHN COOKE all that tract of land scituate in the Pish of OVERWHARTON and County of Richmond and is bounded; Beginning at a red Oak and so along the line of WILLIAM BRONNAUGHs to a marked Gum, corner tree binding upon the line of HENRY WILLSON, and so along that Vally to TURKEY RADERS SWAMP and so along that Swamp to the line of JOHN OWENS and from the beginning red Oak being by Estimacon one hundred & Eighty acres and is now in the tenure & occupation of sd. WILLIAM ROWLEY and MARY his Wife or their assignes. To have and to hold the parcel of land unto JOHN COOKE & assignes during the terme of one whole yeare paying therefore the Fee Rent of one care of Indian Corne on the Feast of
      Si Michael the Arch Angell only if demanded to the intent that by virtue of these presents and of the Statute for transferring uses into possession the sd.       THE CONDITION of this obligation is such that if the above bounden WM. ROWLEY and MARY his Wife their heires doe well and truely observe and keep all the covenants and agreemts, wch: on his her or their parts ought to be kept comprised in one pair of Indentures of Lease and Release between WM. ROWLEY & MARY his Wife and JOHN COOKE according to the true meaning of the said Indentures, That then this obligation shall be void and of none effect or else to remaine in full force strength & virtue

      THIS INDENTURE made this Eighth day of May Anno Dom: one thousand seven hundred and Seventeen Between JOHN COOKE of County of LANCASTER, Planter, of one part and JOHN NAYLOR of County of Richmond, Gent., of other part; Wittnesseth that JOHN COOKE for sum of Six thousand pounds of good sound merchantable tobacco in cask to him in hand paid by these presents doth bargain sell release and confirm unto JOHN NAYLOR his heires (the said JOHN NAYLOR being in the actuall possession thereof by vertue of a Lease thereof to him made and of the Statute for transferring uses into possession) all that parcel of land scituate in Parish of Hannover in County of Richmond bounded; (the description of the bounds of the lands repeated as in the foregoing Lease); To have and to hold the One hundred and Eighty acres of land and premsies unto JOHN NAYLOR his heirs to be holden to the Chiefe Lord or Lords of the fee or fees of the premises by the Rents and Services for the same due and accustomed to be paid; And JOHN COOKE for himself his heirs the One hundred and Eighty acres of land shall warrant and forever defend by these presents against any person; In Wittness whereof the parties to these present Indentures interchangeably have sett their hands and seals the day and year first above written
