      Wife Jumemia Davenport during her natural life-the use of the plantation I purchased of Thomas James, George Paine, and others, lying in "Palmers Neck," and a childs part of my negroes, with the choice of one more negro.
      Son John Davenport-the plantation whereon I now live, containing three hundred and seventy five acres, which I purchased of Mr. David Galloway.
      Son Billy Davenport-the plantation in "Palmers Neck," after the decease of my wife, also the plantation on which my mother now lives, in the lower end of Richmond County.
      Sons John. and Billy Davenport-the remainder of my lands in North'd County, with a grist mill.
      Daughters Nancy, and Elizabeth Davenport-my riding chair and horses.
      Two sons John, and. Billy, and two daughters-all my negroes and personal estate to be equally divided between them.
      Daughters during their single lives, to work their negroes on that part of the plantation that Samuel Yope lived last.
      Witness: Dun Nivien, George Hunt, John Rowand, and Henry Tapscott.
      CODICIL: Having not named executors in my will, I appoint friends Col. Thomas Gaskins Senr., Capt. John H. Valence, Onesiphorus Harvey, gent., all of North'd County, executors.
