Deed, Memorandum, Bond. 24 APR 1738. George Hammond and wife Elizabeth, of NFP, planter, to Luke Millner, same; for 4309 pounds tobacco; that parcel of devidend of land on the north side of Rappahannock River in NFP, bounded beg. in the line of the said Luke Millner, up Cattail Branch, along the lines of William Samford, John Lambert, William Lambert and the Jones's till it comes as far the equal bounds ought to be between the hereafter named Martain and Jobe Hammond; the before granted parcel of land being the moiety of a larger tract granted by deed from a certain Richard King to Martin Hammond and Job Hammond dated 3 FEB 1668/9, the before granted and sold 100a of land being the [devident] whereon the said Martin Hammond did formerly reside, and by his LWT did devise the same to his son Martin father to the said George, which came to the said George by descent with all buildings, etc. Signed George Hammond, Eliza.
