      TO ALL TO WHOM these presents shall come, Know ye that I CHRISTOPHER PRIDHAM of Pish: of Farnum in County of Richmond being of p:fect mind and without fraud or deceit for divers good causes and consideracons me thereunto moveing have and by these presents do give and confirm unto MARY PRIDHAM, ye Wife of ye abovesd. CHRIST: PRIDHAM, a certain parcell of land containing One hundred and forty acres scituate in Pish. of Farnum in County of Richmond and joyning on a peice of land belonging to Mr. ROLLIN CHINN and binding on a peice of land belonging to Collo.CARTER known by the name of HICKORY THICKET; To have and to hold the land and premises with appurtenances unto MARY PRIDHAM during her natural! life freely and quietly without any manner of reclaime of me CHRISTOPHER PRIDHAM my heirs: during the natural life of MARY PRIDHAM and no longer but MARY PRIDHAM is to let said CHRISTOPHER PRIDHAM have one halfe of the Orchard that is on the mild Plantation that ROBERT THORNTON now rents of CHRISTOPHER PRIDHAM and after the decease of MARY PRIDHAM the land to fall to the four Sons of said CHRISTOPHER PRIDHAM, JOHN, CHRISTOPHER, EDWARD and WILLIAM, and the oldest Son is to lay of the land in four parts and the youngest is to have the first choyce paying the rents and services therein due of right to be paid to the Cheif Lord or Lords of the fee or fees of the premises: and furthermore CHRISTOPHER PRIDHAM doe give to MARY PRIDHAM her heirs halfe of all my personable Estate only the said MARY PRIDHAM to pay half the debts that CHRISTOPHER PRIDHAM is now in debt; In Witness whereof I CHRISTOPHER PRIDHAM hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal this 2d day of August 1727 Signed Sealed and Delivered in presents of us
