KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that I ROBT. MOSS do hereby acknowledge to have sold & conveyed from me my heirs Exrs or assignes a parcell of land lying & being upon the Maine Branch of a Swamp called by the name of CHESTUCKSENT & bounden with marked trees under the HILLS to a marked white Oake marked three ways in the line & thence Extending it self to the miles end of my Devident being the Quantity of One hundred acres either more or less the sd land being made over as is aforesaid unto RICHARD STOAKES his heirs or assigns for ever with all rights & priviledges thereunto belonging in as full & ample manner as it is granted to me by my Pattent the sd Land being part of a tract of land sold to me by Mr. WILLIAM MOSELEY be the sd RICHARD STOAKES being lyable from henceforth to pay his Matys quitrents & all taxations that shall be demanded as Witness my hand & Seal this 29th of January 1664
