1748-1752 Frederick County MD Land Records {Patricia Abelard Andersen}
pg. 90-91. John Waters Junior, ofPGC, recorded 31 Oct. 1749, made 24 Aug. 1749, between Mary Baldwin daughter of James Baldwin of PGC, for 15 pounds sterling, sells her title to tract called "Mothers Gift" containing 400 acres lying in "Prince Frederick" County, adjoining to Patuxent River. Signed by Mark, M, Mary Baldwin, before John Lamar Junr. and Tyler Baldwin. Receipt, ack. 4 shillings alienation fine paid.
