      Apr. 1, 1828 - The Fairfax Co., Va. will of Nancy Simpson, in which she says she was formerly Nancy Barker, probated Nov. 17, 1828. The will mentions beloved husband, Josiah Simpson, and references land bought of James ____imsly [Grinsley?] & Ann his wife on Oct. 16, 1803 on the northeast side of the North Branch of Pohick Run at the corner of John Hughes land ... Ward's line ... Washington's line ... consisting of 90 acres. After Josiah's death, land to go to Harrison Simpson Wheeler Barker, son of John Harrison Barker. The will also mentions nephew, Presley Barker; niece Eleanor Barker, wife of John Harrison Barker; Frankey Barker & Siner Grinsley, formerly Siner Barker, daughter of my brother John Barker, executor.
