I, Edward Milstead of CC being weak in body but of sound and perfect mind and memory
To grandson Samuel Milstead, 80 acres of land, part of a tract of land Two Loving Brothers to be laid out by a line drawn parallel to the giving line of the said tract of land.
To son Matthew Milstead, the remaining part of the tract of land Two Loving Brothers that is now in my possession; also one square table, 5 wooden chairs and one feather bed and furniture thereunto belonging, now in his possession.
To James Mordock, son of James and Mary Mordock, one feather bed.
To Catharine Clinkscales, one chest.

The will of Edward Milstead, Sr. was offered for probate on May 15, 1796 by Matthew Milstead {son of Edward Jr. who is dec'd and was named executor} On May 16, 1796 came two of the subscribing witnesses, Thomas Delozier and Elizabeth Delozier (formerly Elizabeth Milstead), and proved the will. {Elizabeth Milstead could be the widow of Edward Milstead Jr. or Edward Jr's daughter or another Milstead}
