      This Indenture made this 14th day of September 1775 Between SIMON PEARSON of County of Fairfax of one part nd CHARLES LITTLE of some County of other part Witnesseth that Simon Pearson in considereson of Rents Covenants and agreements hath granted to farm let unto Charles Little for and during the life of Charles Little and MARY his Wife and of GEORGE WILLIAM CARLYLE and the life of the longest liver of them all the land which is contained in the following metes and bounds beginning at a poplar standing on ELLZEY's CHURCH ROAD in the annexed plot where the black line GH crosses the said road above the IRISH BRIDGE, thence running down the said Road Described with red ink in the sd plott and denominated, the road that leads to the Church and binding on the same until the Road crosses and intersects the black line EF in the said annexed plott, thence with the said line EF to F thence from F along the black line to G thence with G down the black line OH to the poplar tree standing on the said CHURCH ROAD and the Beginning the some being a part of a tract of l which Simon Pearson holds in the County of Fairfax and which said part lies and is situate on the North side of the said Church Road and contains about two hundred and fifty acres more or less To have and to hold .. yielding and paying for the same during the lives of the said Charles Little and Mary his Wife and George William Carlyle on the fourteenth day of September next the rent or sum of Ten pounds current money .

      Sundry differences between Charles Little and Simon Pearson being referred to us the Subscribers as by their mutual bonds dated the 23rd day February last past may appear And we having taken upon ourselves the settlement and determination of the same and heard the Evidences arguments and allegations of the parties and duty considered them do make and publish this our award as follows Vizt. First we do award and determine that the Lease made by Simon Pearson to GERRARD BOLING dated the 18th day of November 1760 was well avoided by the Lessors Reentry in the month of April 1774. The Rent reserved by the said Lease having been in arrear above Ten days and not paid upon a legal demand made previous to the said Reentry, And further do award that the said Simon Pearson hold the same with the Rents growing due from the time of the said Reentry as if the said Lease had never been made.
      We do adjudge and award that the plain red line in plott annexed Beginning at red 0 and there terminating are the true bounds of the Forfeited Lease. We adjudge and award that the lease made by Simon Pearson to SILVESTER ADAMS on the 19th day of February 1760 contains all the land in Pearsons new tract from black G in the annexed plott down the plain black line GH to the Church Road laid out with red ink, thence up the said road to little black c, thence with the plain red ( missing) till they intersect the plain black line EF, And also all the land contained in the said new tract from red 0 to red little k , from thence with the plain black lines to B to C to D to E and to figure i, thence with the plain red line to red 0; to all which land Charles Little is Intitled by virtue of the said mentioned Lease and en agreement thereof made to him by Silvester Adams on the 19th day of January last past and we do award that he hold the same under Rents Reservations Covenants Conditions and Limitations therein expressed And lastly we do award and adjudge that each party pay the costs of the surveys by him respectively made and the attendance of the vidences respectively summoned. Given .. this 19th day of ( missing) 1775.
