      THIS INDENTURE made the twenty sixth day of May in the year of Our Lord one thousand seven hundred and twenty five; Between JAMES TAYLOR of Saint Stephen Parish in KING and QUEEN County of one part and EDWARD TINSLEY of the same Parish and County of the other part; Witnesseth that JAMES TAYLOR in consideration of five shillings lawfull money of England to him in hand paid by EDWARD TINSLEY, the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge, hath and by these presents doth bargain and sell unto EDWARD TINSLEY his heirs one hundred acres of land being part of a Patent for eight thousand five hundred acres granted to JAMES TAYLOR July the 21st day 1722, scituate in Saint George Parish in Spotsylvania County and bounded; Beginning at four Spanish Oaks and two Poplars a corner of a dividing line between ZACHARY and ERASMUS TAYLOR on the side of a Hill on the South side of a Branch in Mr. BAYLOR's line, running thence North sixty five degrees East one hundred twenty six poles to a corner red Oak of THOMAS JACKSON's standing in a Valley in the Dividing Line between ZACHARY and ERASMUS TAYLOR, thence South twenty five degrees East one hundred twenty six poles to two small red Oaks on a Hill side in JOHN RUCKER's line thence South sixty five degrees West one hundred twenty six poles to a Spanish Oak in Mr. BAYLOR's line on the North East side of a Branch, thence North twenty five degrees West one hundred twenty six poles to the first beginning, together with all appurtenances to the one hundred acres of land belonging; To have and to hold the one hundred acres of land unto EDWARD TINSLEY his heirs from the day next before the date hereof during the term of one whole year to the intent that by virtue thereof and of the Statute for transferring of uses into possesssion that EDWARD TINSLEY may be in the actuall possession of the premises and that he may be enabled to take a release of the land and premises to him his heirs, In Witness whereof the party to these presents hath hereunto sett his hand and seal the day and year first above written
