Will of Joseph Bayly of Washington Parish, Westmoreland County, dated 5 Dec. 1717.
To my brother Michael Bayly and his son Thomas Bayly all the money I have in Capt. John Walters' hands, marriner of Bristoll, that part I give my brother being in compensation of all accounts between us.
To my God daughter Mary Butler my Negro girl Jenny, also one feather bed, rugg and blanketts, two cowes, two soaves, two sheep, one ram, one pott, one pan, to be delivered when my wife shall think Fitt and convenient.
I give my servant ladd Benjamin Acres one year, being the last year of his service.
I am indebted to Danll. Edwards, shoemaker in Bristoll, £5 sterling. If he or his executors sends or comes for it, I order my exercutrix pay it at tenn shillings per cent.
To my dear and loving wife all the rest of my estate both real and personal. My will is that my estate be not appraised.

NOW KNOW yee that I the sd Sr. WILL BERKELEY Knt. &c. doe &c. give grant unto Mr. DAVYD FOX 200 acres of land bounding & lying on the North side of Lancastr. County begining at a marked white Oak standing by the side of a main branch of the North West branch of COROTOMON & mining down the sd branch SSE, SSW 240 pole from a marked red Oak, N: & by W: bounding upon the land of ROBT. POLLARD, 200 pole from a marked white Oak bounding upon the land of Capt. JENINGS & Mr. MATT: KEMPE & runing by a line of marked trees of their 200 pole to the place where it began, the sd land being due &c., To have & to hold &c., yeilding & paying &c. Provided it be seated &c. Dated at. JAMES CITTY the 29th of Decem: 1665 WILLIAM BERKELEY
I do hereby assign over unto MICHAEL BAYLEY all my right & title in this Patent & do warrant the sale & quiet enjoymt. of it from any p:sons whatsoever. In Witnes whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 22d day of Jan: 1665

APRILL COURT 1674. At a Court held for Rappa. County April! the 15th 1674 MICHAELL BALEY did in open Court Reassigne a parcel of land wch he bought of Mr. DAVID FOX deceased as by Pattent bearing date the 20th of December 1665 containeth two hundred acres wch assignment was made by the said BAYLEY unto Mr. DAVID FOX JUNR. in these words I MICHAELL BAYLEY doe hereby Reassigne all my right and title of this Pattent unto Mr. DAVID FOX for want of a due compliance of the payment of foure thousand pounds of Tobacco. In Witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand this 27th day of Febry 1667
