THIS INDENTURE made the (in Lease third )(in Release fourth) day of September in year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred & Seventy nine Between JAMES FOLEY and MARY his Wife of Dettingen Parish in Prince William County and State of Virginia of one part and JOHN BIGGS of Parish, County & State of other part Witnesseth that for sum of Three hundred and seventy pounds current money of Virginia JAMES FOLEY and MARY his Wife hath sold unto JOHN BIGGS in his actual possession now being by virtue of a sale for one year and by force of the Statute for transferring uses into possession and his heirs a certain parcel of land in County of Prince William on North side of OCCOQUON and bounded begining at a scrubby white Oak on East side of the Road to BLANSET's FORD being a corner to THOMAS STONE thence North E. to a large Poplar near the land of JOHN BLAND, thence N.W. to four red Oak Saplings near JOHN HAMMITs Line, thence S.E. to a box Oak near the point of a branch and near Mr. HENDERSONs line, thence No. E. to a Hiccory near Mr. HENDERSONs land purchased of VEALE. thence N E to a large white Oak near said HENDERSONs land, thence S.E. to a Beach on North side of OCCOQUON marked JF thence up OCCOQUON RUN So, E., thence to the begining containing Eighty eight acres it being a parcel of land said FOLEY purchased of GEORGE DUNCAN and all houses orchards profits to the said premises belonging To have and to hold unto JOHN BIGGS his heirs and assigns forever In Witness whereof JAMES FOLEY and MARY his Wife have set their hands & seals
