      At a Court held for the County of Northumberland the 22th of Aprill 1652
      Wee whose names are subscribed doe promise & ingage our selves to be true & faith full to the Comonwealth of England as it is now established without KING or HOUSE of LORDES
      These are to certify whom it may concerne that by reason of urgent occasions I cannott come unto Court but am contented to forme to the Ingagemt., Aprill the 11th 1652

      KNOWE ALL MEN by these pr:sents that I JOHN EARLE of YEOCOMOCO, Planter, in the County of Northumberland hath bargained and delivered one p:cell of Land
      containing One hundred acres lying in YEOCOMOCO NECK joyning upon the North Branch of the ISLAND CREEKE & joyning to ye marked trees of a Thousand acres of land belonging to ye sd, EARLE for which I ye sd. JNO: EARLE doe acknowledge to have reced., full satisfcon therefore, I JOHN EARLE doth warrant & grant ye sd. Land unto LUKE DYNE his heires exrs. Admrs. or assignes from all other grantes & or sales & I JOHN EARLE binde my selfe my heires or assignes to warrant the sd. Land unto LUKE DYNE his heires or assignes that hee or they shall peaceable & quietly enjoy sd Land with all priviledges whatsoever; & that I JOHN EARLE doth warrant that the sd. LUKE DYNE his heirs shall peaceable and quietly enjoy the sd. Land without the hinderance of me the sd. JNO: EARLE my heires or assignes or any p:son or p:sons whatsoever that shall lay any claime unto the sd. Land or any things belonging to the sd. Land, As Witnes my hand & seale the 5th day of March 1658
