      KNOW ALL MEN that I HUMPHRY BOOTH of the County of Rappahanock have sould one Cow called Mad Braines from me my heirs to Mrs. MARGT. LUCAS of the said County for (blank) & in consideracon of a Cow of hers the sd MARGT. LUCAS that I formerly killed the sd Cow Mad Braines being marked with a half moone under each ear & slitt down each ear withall her increase I have sold unto the sd MARGT.
