PECKE one Silver Beare Boule holding aboute a pint & if either of these two children should dye then the other should enjoy the whole & if in case they should both dye with out heires then I doe give my Daughteer JANE PECK and whom she does make her heires and if in case shee dyes without heires it is to returne to my two Brother MARTYN HAMMOND & JOB HAMMOND. HUGILL of the County of Rappa. and Parish of Farneham for and in consideracon of the sume of three thousand pounds of Tobo: & Caske to us in hand paid by JOHN PECKE SENIOR of the County of SURRY Boatwrite & for wch we doe for us our heires accquitt release the sd John Pecke Senior his heires & make over unto JOHN PECKE JUNIOR Sone of the abovesd John Pecke Senior three hundred acres of land scituate lying and being in the County & Parish abovesd & on the East side of Totoskey Creeke Fifty Eight acres adjoyning to the land the sd Hugill liveth on Begining at a gutt on the Creeke side in the Marsh & runing up the Creeke No: E: Sixty Eight perches to a marked white Oake standing on a poynt next the land of JOHN CANADAY whence So: by E: 220 perches crossing of Severall Swamps to a Stake in an INDIAN FIELD whence West So.       THIS INDENTURE made the five and twentieth day of October 1686 in the second yeare of the Reigne of our Sovereigne Lord James the second &c. Between JOHN PECK of the Parish of Farnham in the County of Rappa:, Plantr., of the one part and JOHN PATRIDGE of the same Parish and County, Cooper, of the other part Witnesseth that the sd JOHN PECK for Two thousand five hundred pounds of tobacco in caske to him in hand paid hath granted unto the said JOHN PATRIDGE all that parcell of land of what quantitie soever it be of lying on the right hand of the PATH leading to the Plantation of Mr. ROBT. BALES [Bayliss] the Elder unto FARNHAM CHURCH and is part of Two hundred forty and two acres of land held by the sd JOHN PECK purchased by JOHN PECKS Father scituate about two miles from TOTASKEY CREEK in the Parish of Farnham and County of Rappa: and also all that other small parcell of land lying on the other side of the sd PATH and adjoining to the land hereby granted Beginning at a little small marked red Oak by the sd PATH running to a marked white Oake at the head of a Poplar Spurr, and from thence back to the sd PATH, And all profits and appertinances to the sd granted parcell of land belonging To have and to hold the sd two peices of land and all the premisses with their rights unto the sd JOHN PATRIDGE his heires forever subject nevertheless unto the quit rents and services which from henceforth shall become due for the premisses and the sd JOHN PECK himselfe his heires grant that the said JOHN PATRIDGE shall peaceably and quietly have the sd land with all the premisses without the trouble of the sd JOHN PECK his heires or any other persons claiming any part thereof In Witness whereof the parties have sett their hands and seales

      THIS DEED INDENTED made the Seventeenth day of Septembr: in the yeare of our Lord God 1687 Between JOHN PECK of the Parish of North Farnham in the County of Rappa:, Planter, of the one part and RICHD: KING of the said Parish and County, Plantr., of the other part Witnesseth that the sd JOHN PECK for the sum of Two thousand three hundred Ninety and six pounds of good sound well conditioned Tobb; and caske to him in hand paid hath granted unto the sd RICHARD KING all that his peice of land being in the Parish and County aforesd. adjoining the land of MILES HUGILL deced, N. E. and the land late of JOHN KENNEDY deced, S: E: containing by Estimation Fifty and Eight acers and the revercon thereof with all evidences and writing concerning the same To have and to hold the sd Fifty and Eight acers of land with all the appertinances to the same belonging unto the sd RICHARD KING (the fee due to the Cheife Lord or Lords of the Seniory excepted) to the only use of sd RICHARD KING his heires forever and the sd JOHN PECK for himselfe doth promise that upon the reasonable request at the proper cost and charges of the sd RICHARD KING made and do all such other acts and conveyances in the Law as shall be reasonably required and lastly the sd JOHN PECK doth grant the sd land against all persons claiming the same and will warrant and forever defend In Witness whereof the sd JOHN PECK to this present indented hath put his hand and seale the day & year above written

Between JOHN PECK of Parish of Farnham in County of Rappa., Planter. of one part and WILLIAM RICHARDSON of County of NORTHUMBERLAND of the Parish of Mattapony of other part Witnesseth that sd JOHN PECK for Three thousand Five hundred pounds of Tobb; in cask to be paid by WM. RICHARDSON doth sell unto WM. RICHARDSON all that parcell of land of what quantitie soever it be lying on the left hand of the PATH leading from the Plantacon of Mr. ROBERT BAYLEY held unto FARNHAM CHURCH and it is part of Two hundred Forty and four acres of land held by JOHN PECK and purchased by JOHN PECK's Father Senr., deced, scituate two miles from TOTASKEY CREEKE the Parish of Farnham in County of Rappa., begining at a little red Oake corner to & joyning upon JOHN PATRIDGEs line neere his fence, thence runing a straight Course over a bottom to a live red Oak corner tree on the left hand of the aforesd PATH, thence a straight line along the PATH side to a little red marked Oake upon JOHN PATRIDGE line, thence a straight line to the place of begining, and all profitts appurtaining to the hereby parcell of land and all the rights subject nevertheless unto the Quit rents and services which from henceforth shall become due And sd JOHN PECK doth promise WM. RICHARDSON his heirs shall peaceably and quietly hold sd land without trouble of sd JOHN PECK his heirs or any other persons and further JOHN PECK will acknowledge these presents in forme of Law for the better confirmacon thereof.       BEE IT KNOWN unto all men by those presents that I JOHN PECK of the County of Richmond and Parish of FARNHAM for & in consideration of One thousand pounds of tobacco & caske to me in hand paid by JOHN PATRIDGE of the County above mentioned for vch: I do for me my heirs Executrs: & Admstrs: forever alienate & make over unto JOHN PATRIDGE a small parcel of Land adjoyning by the said PATRIDGE Plantacon wch: the said Plantacon the said PATRIDGE bought of the said PECK in October the 20th 1696 scituating & being in the County & Parish abovesaid and on the Easterside of TOTUSKEY CREEKS and adjoyning unto the land of JOHN BATTIN beginning at a red Oake on a Hill side so running a line of marked trees through a small branch to an Ash in JOHN WOOLLARDs Line, To have and to hold the abovesaid parcell of land vth: all priviledges & profitts thereunto belonging to him the said JOHN PATRIDGE his heirs or assignes forever, he the said JOHN PATRIDGE yeilding and paying the Rents & services due to our Sovereigne Lord the King his heirs & Successors; And further more I the said JOHN PECK do oblige myselfe my heirs that the said JOHN PATRIDGE his heirs shall at all times hereafter quietly hold & enjoy the pr:misses & every part thereof without the left incombrance or molestation of me or our heirs or any other persons laying any claime unto the pr:misses. In confirmation of the pr:misses and all of them I have set my hand & seal with further obligation to ratifie & more fully confirme this my act & deed in the County Court of Richmond, this 18th day of May 1696
