      - GARLINGTON v HUSBANDS
      Whereas CHRISTOPHER GARLINGTON arrested EDWARD HUSBANDS, Chirurgeon, to this Court for six pounds sterling alleadging that he did agree with the said HUSBANDS to make a cure of a hurt
      Lieutenant Collonel SAMUELL SMITH received of the said GARLINGTON for nine hundred pounds of tobacco and caske, and yett he the said HUSBANDS received the said six pounds sterling of the said Lieut. Collo. SAMUELL SMITH for the said cure [which sume] he was by the Court ordered and accordingly did pay unto the said Lieut Collo. SAMUELL SMITH, And whereas this Court the said SMITH did averr that when the said HUSBANDS did minister to him to cure his hurt he told him he should not meddle with him unless he would arrest him for his payment after and would not
      allow of any agreement made with another for makeing a cure on himselfe. The Court doth judge that agreement voyd and grant the said HUSBANDS a non suite against the said GARLINGTON with his damages and costs according to Law als Execution

      - MRS JANE WILDEY agt the Estate of CHARLES MORGAN Whereas it appeares to this Court that there is due to MRS. JANE WILDEY, Executrix of WILLIAM WILDEY, deceased, foure thousand pounds of tobacco and caske for her charges and trouble in tending Mr. CHARLES MORGAN in the tyme of his sicknesse and funeral expences after his decease, and six hundred pounds of tobacco and caske for soe much paid to Mr. FARNEFOLD for a funeral' sermon, and two hundred pounds of tobacco to Mr. EDWARD HUSBANDS for medicines administered to the said MORGAN in the tyme of his sicknesse, Judgment is granted the said JANE WILDEY against the Estate of the said CHARLES MORGAN for the sume of foure thousand eight hundred pounds of tobacco and caske als Execution

      - Whereas by an Order from his Excellencey for the takeing of an Accot. of the Estate of EDWARD HUSBAND not long since convicted and executed for Murder, there was by an Order of the last Court helde for this County thereupon Order directed to the Sheriffe of this County requreing him to summon all p:sons to this Court that the Widdowe and Relicte of the saide HUSBAND shoulde informe him was any waies indebted to the saide HUSBANDS Estate, Upon which the p:sons liveing in this County indebted as aforesaide, were summoned and an Accot. was exhibited under the hands of the ( ) against Mr. JNO: PINCKARD for a Capp still in his possession as alsoe one hundred sixty and seven pounds of tobacco. A Bill of Sale under the hand of THOMAS BLANCH for two Steeres of seven yeares of age whereof one remaineing due, an Accot, against THOMAS BAKER for fifteene shillings dueand alsoe a Bill of Sale under the hand of SAMUEL SMITH of NORTHUMBERLAND County to the said HUSBANDS Estate ( ) copp: Still wth ; its heade worme and casqe off all which ( ) to his Excellencys command is ordered to bee returned to his Excellency and Councell the fourth day of the next Genll, Court helde at JAMES CITTY
