( ) these pr:sents that I WILLIAM HOPKINS ( ) unto ANNE HENLEY, Daughter of EDWARD HENLEY ( ) cowe Calfe about three quarters of a ( ) the right eare & one slits in the crop ( ) under keeled on the left care; To have & to hold the sd, Calfe & her increase for ever & if ( ) doth dye before shee is married ( ) shall belong to her Sister, SUSAN ( ) her increase & to dispose of them how ( ). To all &c., to whome these p:sents shall come Greeting?. I JOANE HENLY of CHERRY POYNT in Northumberid: County in Virginia, Widow, for diverse good causes & consideracons me thereby movinge, but more especially out of ye naturall love & affection I beam my Children, vizt., ANNE, SUSANNA, SARAH & EDWARD HENLY, & for their livelyhood & maintenance, have given unto my sd: Children two Servts., the one named RICH: JONES, ye other named ELIZ: HARMAN, To have & to hold to them my sd: Children duringe ye time of their Service & to take & receave ye fruits of their labours, wth:out ye lawful' let or denyall of any p:sons whatsoever clayming from or under my Estate or title; In Witnesse whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seale this 26th xbr: 1663.
