      TO ALL CHRISTIAN PEOPLE to whome these pr:sents shall come, JOHN ALLOWAY of the Parish of NORTH FARNHAM in the County of Richmond, Planter, mid Greeting. Know yee that I the said JOHN ALLOWAY as well for and in consideration of the naturall affection and fatherly love which I have and beare unto my Son, GABRIEL ALLOWAY, and ELIZABETH his Wife as also for divers other good causes me att this time especially moveing, have granted unto the said GABRIEL ALLOWAY and ELIZABETH his Wife, theirs heires and assignes forever, the one moyetie or halfe of the Devident of Land I now live on commonly known or called by the name of the INDIAN
      TOWNE and scituate lying and being on ye South side of TOTUSKEY CREEKE and by the FERRY, and begining att ye lower end of the said INDIAN TOWNE and running upwards betweene the MILL CREEKE and ye BEVER DAMMs but not to come into the Plantation where I am now seated, which said Land I do give and confirms and by these pr:sents give unto the said GABRIEL ALLOWAY and ELIZABETH his Wife their heires or assignes, the abovesaid moyetie or halfe of my Devident of Land and also all the profitts & appurtenances as also all the right and demand of me the said JOHN ALLOWAY to the said Land and pr:misses which I the said JOHN ALLOWAY hath or may have by virtue of any Patent grant or otherwise except & alwayes reserved unto me the said JOHN ALLOWAY the Plantacon.
