      KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that I STEPHEN BOWEN of the Parish of SITTENBURNE and County of Richmond for the love good will and affection that I have and bare unto THOMAS RICHARDSON and CLAPHAM RICHARDSON, Sons of THOMAS and MARY RICHARDSON, of the Parish and County aforesaid, as also for divers good causes and considerations given and granted and of my own free will meere motion and Brotherly Love which I have and bare to the aforesaid THOMAS and CLAPHAM, voluntarily and freely give unto the said THOMAS and CLAPHAM two young Cowes, one of the age of three yeares old or thereabouts, the other of four yeares old or thereabouts being marked wth: a swallow forte on the right eare and a crop and an overkeele on the left; To have and to hold the said two young Cowes theire and each of theire future increase to them the aforesaid THOMAS & CLAPHAM theire heires and assigns forever and to theire or each of theire onely proper use and behoofe without the lett molestation or incumbrance of me the said STEPHEN BOWEN my heires or any other persons whatsoever.       The Last Will and Testament of THOMAS RICHARDSON, deceased, was presented in Court by CLAPHAM RICHARDSON, his Executor, who made Oath thereto, and being proved by the Oaths of GEORGE WHITE and THOMAS ADAMS, two of the witnesses thereto, is admitted to Record; And on motion of the Executor and his performing what is usuall in such cases, Certificate is granted him for obtaining a Probate thereof in due forme
      - RICHARDSON's Estate to be appraised
      CORNELIUS EDMUNDS, THOMAS BROCK, GEORGE WHITE and MERIDAY PRICE or any three of them sometime between this and the next Court are appointed to appraise all and singular the Estate of THOMAS RICHARDSON, deced., in money, which shall be presented to their view and make report thereof to the said next Court; WILLIAM ROBINSON, Gent., or any other Justice of the Peace for this County, is requested to administer an Oath to the Appraibei for their true appraiament of the Decedent's Estate as also to CLAPHAM RICHARDSON, the Executor, for his true discovery thereof

      WILL OF MARY RICHARDSON
      In the Name of God Amen. I Mary Richardson do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following:
      Imp : I give unto my Grandson Stephen Bowen six hamered plates, two dishes and two basens.
      Item: I give unto my son Clapham Richardson one bed and furniture and one warming pan.
      Item: I give to my daughter Mary Turnbull one shilling.
      Item:I give unto my son Stephen Bowen all ye rest of my estate which is not yet disposed of.
      I leave my son Stephen Bowen my sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament. As Witness my hand and Seal this 24th day of August 1724.

PAYNES line .. to the River .. part of Pattent granted to PETER MILLS for 400 acres which came to right of his Son PETER MILLS who dying without Issue it descended to ANN & ELIZABETH his Sisters which ELIZABETH was the Mother of ffRANCES HUGHS .. was in the time of her marriage with WILLIAM PANNIL had her part laid of by CHARLES SMITH Surv: the 12th April 1703 by agreement of those having a right to the other half .. which sd land & plantation THOMAS HUGHS now lives (and is part of the above mentioned 200 acres laid of to ffRANCES)

      RICHARDSON, HONOUR (d.i., 1749). COB#2, p. 651: 5 January 1749/50
      Administration on the estate of Honour Richardson, deceased, is granted to Joseph Pilcher and on the same day he gave bond in the sum of £50 Current Money of Virginia for his proper administrative duties with Clapham Richardson, his security (BB#3, p. 97].
