      - In an Ejectione Firma between William Hadland, Plt. and WILLIAM KING, Defendt., for messuages, lands and appurtenances lying and being in the Pish of Northfarnham and County of Richmond which DANIEL BRYAN and HANNAH his Wife, demised to Plt. for a terme of years not yet ended, and for one hundred pounds sterling damage for ejecting Plt. from the same as is set forth in the Declaration, to which Defendt. haveing pleaded Not Guilty, a Jury was this day sworn to try the issue joyn'd whose names are

      who haveing heard the evidence and received their charge, were sent out, and soon after returning into Court, and they being agreed on their Verdict, returned the same which at motion of Plt. is admitted to Record, And it is in these words, "Richmond ss. Hadland vs. KING. Wee the Jury do find that one JOHN OAKLEY by his Will dated 19th of November 1697, did devise unto one SUSANNA PERRY one hundred acres of land to her and her heirs forever, which Will was duly proved in this County Court the 2d day of March 1697/8, as by the Will hereto annexed may appear, And we do find that the aforsaid HANNAH in the Declaration mentioned and the aforesaid SUSANNA, the Will aforesaid mentioned are one person. Wee do further find that the said SUSANNA intermarryed with one SAMUELL STEELE and that they by one certain Deed under their hands and seals bearing date the 19th day of December 1701, did bargain and sell unto one JAMES WILSON and his heirs forever the aforesaid one hundred acres of land wch: Deed was acknowledged the 5th day of February 1701 and recorded the 11th day of the same month as by the Deed hereto annexed may appear; Wee do also find that one THOMAS PETTY acknowledged the right of the aforesaid SUSANNA to the lands in aforesaid Deed mentioned by vertue of a paper brought up to him by her Husband for that purpose, and that sometime afterwards going to the House of the aforesaid SAMUELL STEELE the aforesaid SUSANNA then asked him if he had acknowledged the Deed and that he answered "yes." and that the aforesaid SUSANNA was well satisfyed therewith. Wee do also find that the aforesaid DANIELL BRYAN since the death of the said STEELE intermarryed with the said SUSANNA, wch: &c. Wee do also find that the Defendt., KING, intermarryed with the Widow of the aforesaid JAMES WILSON by vertue whereof he is tenant in Dower of the lands aforesd. in dispute; Wee do also find that the Defendt. is in possession of the lands aforesaid. If the Court shall adjudge the Law to be for the Defendt., wee find for the Defendt., if for the Plt., wee find for the Plt. one shilling sterling damages. JOHN KELLY, Foreman."       TO ALL TO WHOM these presents shall come, Wee DANIEL BRYAN and HANNAH my Wife, both of the Parish of SAINT MARYES WHITE CHAPPEL in ye County of LANCASTER send Greeting, KNOW YEE that wee the said DANIELL BRYAN and HANNAH BRYAN for sum of Two thousand pounds of tobacco to us in hand paid by WILLIAM KING of Parish of Northfarnham in County of Richmond, by these presents do remise release and quitt claim unto WILLIAM KING and MARY his Wife dureing the naturall lives of them ye aforesaid WILLIAM KING and MARY his wife and after their decease unto ye heirs of ye Body of ye aforesaid MARY lawfully begotten all the estate right title and demand which wee said DANIELL BRYAN and HANNAH my Wife now have or which wee or our heirs at any hereafter may or ought to have in all that Plantacon & tract of land scituate & being in ye Parrish of Northfarnham in ye County of Richmond, containeing One hundred acres of land which a certain JOHN OAKELY by his Last Will and Testament devised to ye said HANNAH, party to these presents, as in and by ye Last Will and Testament may appear; To have and to hold the Plantation & tract of land with appurtenances unto WILLIAM KING and MARY his wife dureing their naturall lives and after their decease unto ye heirs of ye body of ye aforesaid MARY lawfully begotten so that neither wee the said DANIELL BRYAN and HANNAH my wife nor our heirs nor any other person may claim any estate or title in the premises; And wee DANIELL BRYAN and HANNAH my Wife and our heirs the plantacon and tract of land unto WILLIAM KING and MARY his Wife shall warrant and for ever defend by these presents; In Wittness whereof wee the said DANIELL BRYAN and HANNAH BRYAN to this present Release have sett our hands and affixed our wales this Fourth day of
