      I Middleton Belt, planter in consideration of 32 pounds 13 shillings and 5 pence specie current money of Maryland paid by Barbara Williams of Montgomery County, Maryland has sold Negroes Dick (21 years) and Peter (52 years) and 2 cows in trust that in case I shall well and truly pay Barbara Williams the aforesaid sum of money with legal interest on or before December 31st next then this deed to be void.       Indenture made June 16, 1790; Ruth Belt and Middleton Belt in consideration of 260 pounds current money of Maryland paid by John Calvert, Gentleman have sold two tracts, part of "Buck Lodge" containing 91 acres as described in the resurvey dated January 17, 1748 as the second vacancy which was heretofore bequeath to Middleton Belt by his father Benjamin Belt, deceased; and "Belts Meadow" containing 13 acres and beginning at a white oak, it being the beginning tree of "Buck Lodge".
