To all Christian People .. We SARAH FICKLING Widow & relict of WILLIAM FICKLING late of county King George deceased, IGNATIUS WEST &
PATIENCE, his wife, STEPHEN BOWEN & SARAH his wife, ROBERT ROACH & ELIZABETH his wife, WILLIAM FICKLING, THOMAS FICKLING & ANTHONY FICKLING of county King George send greeting. Know ye that we (those named) in consideration of the natural love and affection which we bear unto our beloved Brother BENJAMIN FICKLING of said county youngest child of William Fickling deceased as well as for his advancement in the world have each of us given (him) .. our respective parts shares or rights which any of us hath in any parcel of goods and chattels which were of the said William Fickling deceased at the time of his decease .. 2nd November 1756.

Indenture made 22nd January 1757 between REBEKAH PARVAIT of county King George Widow and BENJAMIN FICKLIN of same Planter .. witnesseth that Rebekah Parvait doth put & place her son WILLIAM PARVAIT aged Ten years of age the 25th of this Instant to live & abide with said Benjamin until said William shall attain the age of twenty one years .. Benjamin to instruct him in the Trade of cordwainder and send (him) to school one year .. at expiration of said time Benjamin shall pay the sum of Three pounds Ten shillings Curt. money ..

ndenture made 13th October 1760 between WINNY PERFECT and REBECCA BRYNER of parish of Brunswick & county of King George of one part and BENJAMIN FICKLER and MARGARET his wife of same .. Witnesseth Rebecca Brymer with consent of said Winny Perfect her daughter and with approbation of the Worshipfull Court by these presents do put and bind the said Winny Perfect a servant to Benjamin Ficklen and Margaret his wife untill she arrive to full age of eighteen years .. to learn her to read .. expiration of said Term allow such Freedom dues as by Law required ..

Indenture made 13th October 1760 between NARY PERFECT and REBECCA BRYMER of parish Brunswick & county King George and STEPHEN BOWEN and SARAH his wife of same .. Witnesseth Rebecca Brymer with consent of Mary Perfect her daughter and approbation of this Court .. do bind Mary Perfect a servant unto Stephen Bowen 6. Sarah his wife, the said Mary being born in the year 1753 the 25th September until Mary arrive to full age of eighteen years ..

Indenture made 16th November 1767 between ELLIS CRAVAT, BENJAMIN
FICKLIN & MARGARET his wife, WILLIAM SAMUEL and MARY his wife, THOMAS ETHRINGTON and ROSANAH his wife of one part and THOMAS FICKLIN Whereas DANIEL GRANT deced in his life time and at time of his death was possessed in a parcel of land containing 97 acres lying in county King George and binding on lands now belonging to JOHN CHAMPE, WILLIAM ROWLEY & WILLIAM GRANT .. died without Male heir .. Whereby said parcel of land descended to his daughters & coheirs FRANCES, ELIZABETH, MARGARET, MARY & ROSANAH which said Frances with ZACHARIAH UNDERWOOD her husband hath some time past conveyed their part to Thomas Picklin, the said Elizabeth having intermarried with said Ellis Cravat one of the parties to these presents and died without making any conveyance of same leaving a son JOHN CRAVAT an infant not now of sufficient age to make a conveyance of his said rights, the said Margaret, Mary and Rosanah having intermarried with Benjamin Ficklin, William Samuel and Thomas Ethrington as aforesaid .. and a jury of Freeholders and lawful men to wit: JAMES KENYON, JAMES WINT, JOHN PAYNE, WILLIAM PAYNE, EDWARD PEARL, GEORGE JONES, STEPHEN HANSFORD, PETER JETT, MOTT DERMIT, ALEXANDER HANSFORD, JOHN JONES, WILLIAM GRANT that said 97 acres of land with appurtenances are of value Seventy pounds Sterling .. Now This Indenture Witnesseth that Benjamin Ficklin and Margaret his wife, William Samuel and Mary his wife, Thomas Ethrington and Rosanah his wife, and Ellis Cravat for sum Seventy two pounds current money paid by Thomas Ficklin .. sold said 97 acres of land ..

Whereas BENJAMIN FICKLIN & MARGARET his wife, WILLIAM SAMUEL & MARY his wife and THOMAS ETHRINGTON and ROSANAH his wife conveyed to THOMAS FICKLIN 97 acres of land lying in King George County .. and whereas said Margaret, Mary & Rosanah cannot conveniently travel to our county court ., receive their acknowledgment .. 16th November 1767.
