      Jackson to Sandy Indenture
      This indenture made the seventh day of May 1768 between Daniel Jackson, Sr., of the parish of Cople in County of Westmoreland of the one part and Uriah Sandy of the same Parish and County aforesaid of the other part. Witnessed that Daniel Jackson, Sr., in consideration of 25 pounds current money of Virginia has sold unto Uriah Sandy 50 acres of land whereon George Brown, deceased formerly did possess. Beginning at a marked hickory tree joining John Lawson, from thence to a poplar standing on the head of a little branch, a corner tree between Mr. John Lawson and Uriah Sandy, from thence to a chestnut a corner tree between William Fryer and Uriah Sandy, from thence to a dead red Oak between William Fryer and Uriah Sandy and Mr. Daniel Jackson, a corner tree, from thence to a cedar tree standing on a little branch. In witness whereof the parties to these presents have hereunto interchangeably set their hands and seals the day and year first above written.
