      KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that I JOHN OWEN and REBECCA my Wife of St. Marys Parish in Rappa County in the Colony of Virginia, Tayler, have and do by these presents make over all my right of a certain parcell of land being in the aforesd Parish and County and by estimation Fifty acres of land more or less bounded begining at a white Oake standing in a branch and thence Westward alonge the line of Mr. FRAN: HALE [Haile] and then unto a red Oake on the East side of a Run and then runing Northward along the branch unto the line of JAMES LAMB and runing alonge the line of JAMES LAMB unto a Branch which is the corner tree of EVAN WILLIAMS and runing Sotherly alonge the said EVAN WILLIAMS unto the white Oake at the first begining unto EVAN WILLIAMS his heirs for Two thousand pounds of Tobb: in hand received by me JOHN OWEN I sd JOHN OWEN do release and discharge the sd EVAN WILLIAMS and do warrant the Sale of the sd land from claime of any persons whatsoever And in confirmation of we have hereunto sett our hands and affixed our Seales this twenty sixth day of July 1689. This Deed of Sale to be acknowledged in Rappa. County Court Signed Sealed and Delivered in presence of us
