      This Indenture made the 11th day of May in the Second year of our Sovereign Lord King George the Second in the year of our Lord Christ one thousand seven hundred and twenty nine Between NICHOLAS YAGAR, Planter of the County of Spotsylvania of the one part and of the parish of St. George and PHILLIP POLITCH, Planter of the aforesaid parish and County of the other part. Witnesseth that the said NICHOLAS YEAGAR for and in consideration of the just sum of twenty pounds sterling money of Great Britain to him in hand paid by the said PHILIP POLITCH before the ensealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof the said NICHOLAS YAGAR doth hereby acknowledge and thereof and from every part and parcel thereof doth fully acquit discharge the said PHILLIP POLITCH his heirs Exrs. and Admrs. hath given granted bargained sold revised released and confirmed and by these presents doth give grant bargain sell revise release and confirm unto the said PHILIP POLITCH in his actual possession now being by force and virtue of a certain Indenture of Lease to him made of a parcel! of Land with the appurtenances hereafter Mentioned by the said NICHOLAS YAGAR the said Indenture beareth date the day before the day of the date of these presents for one whole year from thence next comeing and by force and virtue of the Statute made for Transferring uses into possessions and to his heirs for ever one piece or parcell of land or woodland ground situate and lying and being in Spotsylvania County in St. Georges parish and bounded as followeth Vizt. Beginning at a red and white oak near the foot of a Mountain in the first fork of the Robinson River and runneth thence north sixty degrees west one hundred and thirty four poles to a white oak thence south thirty degrees west two hundred and thirty four poles thence north eighty six degrees east two hundred and sixty four poles to a white oak in a line of the said NICHOLAS YEAGAR's, thence north fifteen degrees west one hundred and twenty poles to the beginning Together with all houses outhouses buildings fences gardens orchards woods underwoods waters and water courses liberties properties priveledges commodities hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever to the said land and premises belonging or in any wise appertaining To Have and To Hold the said land and premises belonging thereto hereby sold within the appurtenances unto the said PHILIP PAULITZ to the only proper uses and behoof of him the said PHILLIP POLITCH his heirs and assigns forever and the said NICHOLAS YAGAR doth covenant for himself his heirs Executors and admrs. by these presents he and they shall and will warrent and forever defend the before granted land and premises with the appurtenances unto the said PHILIP POLITCH his heirs and assigns against him the said NICHOLAS YAGAR his heirs Exrs. and Admrs. and against the claim and claims of any other person or persons whatsoever and the said PHILIP POLITCH his heirs Exrs. Admrs. and assigns shall and may from time to time and at all times hereafter forever freely peaceably and quietly Have, hold, occupy possess and enjoy all and singular the before mentioned land and premises with all and singular the appurtenances and it is freely and clearly acquitted and discharged from all manner and form gifts grants bargains sales and leases and of and from all manner of other Titles Troubles and Incumberances whatsoever and the said NICHOLAS YAGAR fur I iiiiiself his heirs Exrs. Admrs. and assign doth covenant promise and grant to and with the said PHILIP POLITCH his heirs Exrs. Admrs. and assigns and the said NICHOLAS YAGAR his heirs Exrs. and Admrs. shall and will at any time hereafter within the space of ten years from the date hereof at the request and desire of the said PHILIP POLITCH his heirs Exrs. and assigns at their charge make do and execute in due form of law any other conveyance or assurance whatsoever for the better more perfect and absolute conveying and sure making of all and singular the before granted land and premises with the appurtenances unto the said PHILIP POLITCH his heirs and assigns forever. In Witness whereof the said parties to these present Indenture have interchangeably set their hands and seals the day and year first above written.

      At a Court held for Spotsylvania County on Tuesday July the first Anno. Dom. 1729. NICHOLAS YAGAR acknowledged this his Deed of Release for land unto PHILIP PAULITZ at whose motion the same was admitted to be recorded.
