      THIS INDENTURE made this twenty day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and forty three Between JOHN BUSH and SUSANNA his Wife of the Parish of SOUTH:FARNHAM in the County of Essex of the one part and THOMAS BLATT of the same Parish & County of the other part; Witnesseth that the said JOHN BUSH and SUSANNA his Wife for the summ of Forty five pounds currant money of Virginia have granted unto the said THOMAS BLATT his heirs & assignes for ever all the right due to them the said JOHN BUSH & SUSANNA his Wife to a certain parcel of Land containing Seventy five acres be the same more or less being part of that tract of Land which formerly belonged to JOHN BATTEN DOBYNS and bounded Begining at a corner Maple of RICHARD JOHNSONs standing by the sdie of the said RICHARD JOHN-SONs MILL SWAMP, thence up the Hill along the line of the said JOHNSONs to the Mill Path corner to JOHN HORSKINS Land, thence along the Path the severall courses thereof to a corner white Oak of the said HORSKINS thence to a corner redd Oak of BIBBY BUSH's thence crossing the old field to a Maple standing by the side of a Gully which divides the said Land from the Land of BIBBY BUSH's, thence down the said Gully to the Swamp, thence down the said Swamp the severall courses thereof to the beginning, And all houses buildings water woods and appurtenances to the same belonging; To have and to hold unto the said THOMAS BLATT his heirs and assigns for ever to be held of our Sovereign Lord the King his heirs and Successors by the Quitrents accustomed and do warrant the same from them the said JOHN BUSH & SUSANNA his Wife, their heirs or any other persons claiming title to any part thereof; In Witness whereof they have hereunto set their hands and seals
