The first name of his wife is not known. She is only indirectly mentioned once in a deed in 1710 when her father, Robert Williams, gifted land to his step children and made is son-in-law William Daniell his proxy for managing some bequests. I have a transcribed this deed from the original and can send you copies of both. This is the only time she is mentioned in records. She died before 16 February 1719 when William Daniel gifted land to his son-in-law James Lindsay (sic). She did not release her dower rights. Her last known child (Moses) was born about 1717. Again, Essex County did not exist when she was born, so maybe born in Old Rapphannock. I have found a couple of mentions of a Robert Williams in Old Rapphannock who may have been her father.
