Ignatius Pigman recorded 18 March 1796 from Lodowick Davis, Resin Davis, Jeremiah Davis and Gideon Davis for £10, part of Resurvey on Pigman's Square, adjacent to part of Davis's Content, formerly laid off for Forrest Davis, to resurvey on Benjamin's Square, containing 4 8/10 acres. Signed by parties before Charles Magruder, Richard Green. Polly Anne wife of Lodowick, Susannah wife of Jeremiah and Sarah wife of Gideon Davis relinquished dower. At same time Eleanor Palmore, relict of Lodowick Davis, deceased, relinquished her right of dower.internet birth date April 29, 1735; not in PGCo parish records

      F:125. Negroes Ferate and Monica record manumissions, 21 Jan. 1795. Made 14 Oct 1792 by William Hilton, Luke Hilton, William Hilton and Archibald Cecil. Witnesses: Lenox Martin, Caleb Knott, Elizabeth Marten, Zachariah Knott. Also signing, Truman Hilton, Levin Hayes, James Talbott. Witnesses Archibald Nicholls, Sarah Riley, Rezin Davis, Charles Paten by mark, John Holmes and Ignatius Head. On the back of the foregoing deed of manumission was thus endorsed: "We the undersigned know Ferah to be able to get her living and likewise her child, 22 October 1794. James Hilton Junr., William Hilton, Luke Hilton, Archibald Cecill, Truman Hilton and James Talbott.

      374-375. Clement Thompson recorded deed 19 December 1802 from Elijah Williams, Harriett his wife, Rezin Davis and Eleanor Palmer, heirs of Ludwick Davis, decd. Harriett and Rezin are his children, and Eleanor Palmer his widow who intermarried with a certain Jonathan Palmer and has become a widow again. Two of her sons Ludwick Davis and Rezin Davis, consented to division. Part of Resurvey on Benjamin's Square, and part of Davis Content.
