      British Roots of MD Families, Robert Barnes, p. 298 has John Lowe, Justice of the Peace, bapt. 1 Jan 1673 at Denby Co. Derby, with the following children baptised there Vincent, John (27 Aug 1698 (prob. d. young); Dorothy, bapt. 1 June 1700; Charles, bapt. 8 April 1702; Anne, bapt. 18 June 1703; Mary, bapt. 16 May 1706, Prudence, bapt 13 Aug1708; Jane, bapt. 10 Dec. 1710; Elizabeth, bapt. 12 Feb 1713, and Theodosia, bapt. 7 Aug 1718. If so, they would not be the children of John Lowe in TA Co. but he is placed as a great-nephew of Col. Vincent Lowe who d. 1692, and John of TA Co. was a great-nephew.
