      I, John Adams of CC, being sick and weak of body, but of sound perfect and disposing mind and memory;
      To my wife Elisabeth Adams, all my negroes that was deeded to her by her mother Elizabeth Burroughs.
      To my wife Elisabeth Adams, the use of 8 negros; Jerry, Hopewell, Nace, Harry, Priess, Pat, David and Henley, during her single life and after her decease equally divided amony my seven children; John Adams, George Adams, William Adams, Little{ton} Adams, Thomas Adams, Eleanor Wilkinson and Susannah Perry.
      To son Little Adams, negro James and 500 dollars.
      To son Thomas Adams, 500 dollars.
      To daughter Eleanor Wilkinson, negroes Agnes and her youngest daughter Harriet.
      To daughter Susannah Perry, negroes Edward and Charlotte.
      To wife Elizabeth, ½ of all my stock of horses, cattle, sheep and hogs. Also ½ of all household and kitchen furniture, also my grain of Indian corn, wheat, rye, oats and meal in my house at the time of my decease.
      To son William, 100 dollars.
      To grandson Washington Adams, 300 dollars.
      To wife Elizabeth, the use of all my lands during her single life and after her decease or marriage, lands to be sold at public sale or a credit of six to twelve months credit. The money arising to be distributed equally between my seven children.
