      THIS INDENTURE made this 28th day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety one Between WILLIAM BRADLEY & JUDITH BRADLEY his Wife of County of Culpeper of one part and ABEL JENNEY of County aforesaid of other part; Witnesseth that WILLIAM BRADLEY and JUDITH his Wife in consideration of the sum of Twenty pounds current money of Virginia to him in hand paid, by these presents do bargain sell & confirm unto ABEL JENNEY his heirs a lot of land lying near STEPHENSBURG in County of Culpeper containing Ten acres with the priviledge of a Road of twenty feet wide from the CAROLINA ROAD down to the said lot, the said lot & Road being bounded; Begining at a white Oak corner to Capt. REUBEN ZIMERMAN and runing North thirty five degrees East thirty six poles and eight feet to a Stake in JOHN THOMPSON's line, thence North sixty five degrees West forty four poles to a Locust, thence South thirty six degrees West thirty six poles & four feet to a Locust in Capt. ZIMERMAN's line, thence with ZIMERMAN's line South sixty nine degrees East forty four poles to the begining; the Road being bounded on ZIMERMAN's line from the corner of said Lot in said line up to the CAROLINA ROAD, Together with all woods and water courses and appurtenances to said lot belonging; To have and to hold the Ten acres of land, Road and premises with all appurtenances unto ABEL JENNEY his heirs; And WILLIAM BRADLEY for himself and this heirs do covenant with ABEL JENNEY that said WILLIAM BRADLEY shall warrant and forever defend the land Road & premises unto ABEL JENNEY his heirs against the claims of all persons; In Witness whereof the said WILLIAM BRADLEY and JUDITH BRADLEY his Wife hath hereunto set their hands & seals the day & year first above written
