Will of HESTER WILLIAMS, Charles Co.; written 8 Nov 1774; probate 19 Dec 1774
      To son Will'm Williams, cow
      To son John Williams, cow
To son Justinian Williams, ex., residue
      Wit: Philip Briscoe, John Edelen
      (MCW XVI.35; Wills, 40.167)

Note: In 1752 Easter Williams signs a document in her own right 2 months after James turns over a considerable amount of moveable property to Robert Horner. The 1771 list of people owing money to Horner [who was languishing in jail] includes James Williams of Virginia. Thus it appears James went to Virginia in the spring of 1752 leaving his wife in Maryland.]
