      Hezekiah Skinner, Will, November 4, 1804; November 23, 1804
      I, Hezekiah Skinner of CC, being sick and weak of body but of sound disposing, mind, memory and understanding;
      To wife Elizabeth Skinner, a bond or note given by Francis Elgin dec'd for 160 dollars, also one other note of hand given by Charles Adams for 14 pounds 14 shillings and 4 pence both of the above notes are in my wife's name. Also all the tobacco due me for rent by Richard Gaskins, one bed, bedstead and furniture, 1 pewter dish, 6 pewter plates, 3 basons, 1 plank table and chest, 1 iron dutch oven and pott, 1 pair smoothing irons, 5 earthen plates, 1 cotton wheel and 1 pair cotton cards(?), 1 cow, 1 years provisions, 1 hogg, 1000 pounds of net crop tobacco.
      To son James Skinner, 2 tracts of land whereon he now lives.
      To daughter Catherine Wright, tract "Skinner's Grubs" whereon Elisha Skinner now lives.
      To daughters Dianah and Anne Manning Skinner, the plantation whereon I now live.
      Item: the residue of my property to my son James, my three daugthers, Catherine, Dianah and Anne Manning, and grandson John G. Fowler.
      Item: it is my will that my son James Skinner so soon as a division of the residue of my property takes place, sell the part which may be allotted to my grandson John G. Fowler for cash which must be put to interest for the support and maintenance during his minority.
