At the request of David Turner Davis the following Deed of Gift was recorded December 30, 1793 I Eleanor Davis, relict of Elijah Davis in consideration of the natural love and affection which I bear towards my son David Turner Davis and 5 shillings as also for divers other good causes and consideration me hereunto moving have given Negro woman Grace and ½ of her increase after my decease. In witness whereof I have set my hand and seal this December 30, 1793, Eleanor Davis in the presence of Anthony Addison and acknowledged before Rd Cramphin
