Mildred Washington married Thomas Jesse Lee in 1788. She died in childbirth at the Park Gate Plantation house in 1796 and is buried there. Mildred was Thomas Lee's second wife, as you indicate. His first wife was Elizabeth Ashton Brent who bore him a daughter, Eleanor, and died shortly after. I have them marrying in 1783 and Eleanor's birth and Elizabeth's death occurring in 1785.
There was no third wife for Thomas Lee. He continued to live at Park Gate, along with Eleanor until his death in 1805. He left the house to Eleanor after his death. She subsequently married Garard Alexander and lived with him at Park Gate until she died a month after giving birth to a son, Thomas, in Oct 1807.
