Grace Lloyd Lyon, Will, February 22, 1806; September 9, 1806
I, Grace Lloyd Lyon of CC, being infirm in body, but of a sound and disposing mind and memory;
To Benjamin Redgate {Ridgate} all my personal property.
To Benjamin Redgate {Ridgate} all my real estate, but in case he should die before he arrives at the age of 21 yrs, then it should go to my niece Elizabeth Redgate, and in case she dies without heirs then to niece Mary King.
To negro Nancy, her freedom at my death

-to have the benefit of purchasing his liberty by paying down his appraisernent
-to have the use of testator's several mares and colts and a horse called "Wilkes" as I claim no property in them be wholly at his disposal he having purchase the Original with my approbation."

-to have tract of land called "Beanes Landing" cont- 60 acres for his natural life and to commit no waste and should he die wiout heirs, then to testator's daughter Grace
-to have 1 lamb
8. Lingan Bates Wilson
-to have part of a tract of land formerly called 'Taylor's Coast" and now called "Greenfield's Kindness" cont. 160 acres of land --to have for his natural life
and he is to commit no waste and should he die w/out heirs then to testator's daughter Grace
-to have 1 ewe and lamb
-to have one third part of the crop of tobacco and grain wf the condition that be bear the proportional part of the security thereof
9. Hugh Lyon
David Crawford of Marlborough
-named executors and instructed that testator desires that his "Body with the rites and Ceremonies of the Church of England Established to be interred in the Burying place Erected for that purpose"
-whereas testator conveyed and made over to James Russell, merchant part of a tract of land called "Cuckhold's Point" to take its original bounds agreeable to parent and to cont. 217 acres with the indulgence of paying 10 shillings sterling per acre for such deficiency or lands adjacent thereto at "my election which Lands fell into the Possession of Leonard Piles and Ephriam Guyer (a noted villain in Land affairs and without any Reservation or exception) and to enable Hugh Lyon and Grace his wife or the longest liver of them to execute settle and adjust my Contract with the Heirs of the said Leonard Piles and Ephraim Gover."
-Lyon and wife to have 100 acres being part of a tract called "Brooke Hall" for their natural lives or the remainder thereof after having fulfilled testator's contract
-Lyon and wife to have the remainder of the estate

I Lingan Wilson in consideration of the love goodwill and affection which I have and do bear towards my beloved daughter Grace Lloyd Lyon and also the sum of 5 shillings sterling have given by these presents all that south half part or moiety of "Lot number 51" in the Town of Upper Marlborough's; also Negro lad Clement born May 24, 1762, Negro boy Stephen born December 28, 1768 and Negro boy Robert born June 25, 1771 after my deceased. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this October 12, 1776, Lingan Wilson in the presence of and acknowledged before David Craufurd, John Read Magruder
