Bequeaths to:
1. John Kingsbury Freeland --son
-to have all those tracts or parcels of land which testator purchased from James Beck, deceased, to be divided by a line drawn northerly from the southwest corner of a tract of land called "Piney Hedge" so as to lay off the whole in 2 equal parts --the part where Robert Hopper lives to belong to John
2. Francis Freeland --son
-to have the part of the land divided as mentioned above where Samuel Sheriff now lives -the 50 acres of land reserved adjoining the lands of John Turner and Thomas Glessan
to be divided equally between testator's two sons
3. Mary Freeland - wife
-to have the plantation whereon testator now lives except for 50 acres which is to be laid off with a straight line across that end of the said plantation --to have for her natural life
-to have her right of dower in testator's personal estate
-named executrix and instructed to sell that lot of ground which testator purchased from Charles Bettey (2) in Georgetown and the money from the sale applied to testator's debts and the part of the land which testator purchased from James Beck, deceased is to be sold should the other lot of ground prove. insufficient to pay testator's debts
4. Robert Lloyd Freeland --son
-atter widow' s decease to have the dwelling plantation
5. Nelly Freeland --daughter
Sarah Freeland --daughter
Rebeccah Freeland -daughter
-each to have 1 good feather bed and furn, each to have 1 cow and calf, I sow and pigs
-each to have Negro child not less than 2 years of age
6. Marthy Sampson --daughter
-named executrix along w/ testator's widow and son Francis
Witnesses: Samuel Brashear, Rachel Brashear (mark), Charles Duvall
Then came; the three above named subscribers to the will
