Indenture made October 17, 1798; John Moncure Daniel and Margaret Daniel his wife of CC and Travers Daniel Jr. and Mildred Daniel his wife of Stafford County, Virginia, in consideration of 149 pounds 7 shillings and 6 pence current money paid by Baker Brooke have sold all that tract of land or moiety of land called "Addition to May Day Enlarged" and beginning in the third line of "Beech Neck" granted to Walter Pye, then to "Durham Freehold" and containing 74 acres 2 rods and 30 perches. The mother of negro Aggy (who was entered by me on December 15th last) was called Hannah and was willed to me by my grandfather Peter Daniel whose will is dated August 24, 1774 and is recorded among the records of Stafford County Court. Signed Jno. M. Daniel on February 11, 1799.

At the request of Francis Ignatius Stewart, the following Deed was recorded February 24, 1801
Indenture made October 25, 1800; John Moncure Daniel and Margaret Daniel his wife of CC and Travers Daniel Jr., and Mildred Daniel his wife of Stafford County, Virginia, in consideration of 42 pounds 10 shillings current money of Maryland paid by Francis Ignatius Stewart has sold all that part of a tract in fee simple called "Addition to Mayday Enlarged" lying to the southward of the land sold by John M. Daniel to Baker Brooke till it comes to the road or common ridingway that leads from Mr. Newman's till it intersects the third line of "Beeches Neck" granted Walter Pye and containing 17 acres, 1 rod and 20 perches. October 25, 1800; Margaret Daniel wife of John Moncure Daniel relinquished her right of dower.
