Whereas I owe George Maxwell 61 £13 shillings and 3 pence 3 farthings and 118 lbs of tobacco, and the sd George Maxwell stands engaged for me in the sum of 13 shillings and 8 pence and 2655 lbs of tobacco to Daniel Jenifer, in the sum of 208 lbs of tobacco and 5 £to James Marshall, in the sum of 6 shillings to Leonard Camoran, & to Thomas Truman in the sum of 900 lbs of tobacco, now know that I, towards the payment of the sd monies and tobacco and for divers other causes, have granted to sd George Maxwell, all manner of goods, chattels, debts, monies, and all other things, and also all my right and title to my wife's part of her father, Edward Burch, decd's estate, and all other
