MANSELL, CAPTAIN DAVID, 24 July, 1672; 4 September, 1672.
In perfect memory and sence yet sick and weake in body.
I make and depute my well beloved friend and nearest neighbour William Wheeler my full and whole Executor putting my whole trust in him my said Executor to take on himself the same charge and Care to bring up and educate my godchild David and to take to himself all the said David ffristo his Estate which I now possess or might possess
and retaine until the said ffristo be come of age if lived. His Executor to pay all his lawful debts. To daughter Mary my sealed ring. To my grandchild Mansell Blagrave and his heirs and successors for ever one tract of land adjoining the land of Mr Robert Bayly on which land standeth a house called the block house there being neere 200 acres. To my said Executor William Wheeler the 1/2 part of my Estate that shall appeare to remaine after these debts and legacies be deducted out of the whole. To my said grandchild Mansell Blagrave the other 1/2 part of my Estate that shall remain after my debts and legacies be deducted as above said out of the whole. The remainder of my Estate to William Wheeler and Mansell Blagrave or their heirs or assigns either to be divided or sold by my aforesaid Executor or by him my said Executor to be retained putting in security for the 1/2 part to be delivered when my said grandchild cometh to be of age- or whensoever my said Executor shall see best for both him and my grandchilds advantage.

TO ALL CHRISTIAN PEOPLE to whome these presents shall come, I HENRY BLAGGRAVE of County of YORK send Greeting in our Lord God everlasting; Know yee that I HENRY BLAGGRAVE of NEW KENT COUNTY and heire to my Uncle, MANSELE BLAGGRAVE deced have for the summe of Three thousand pounds of good Sound merchantable tobbacco in caske to me in hand by Bill secured from ROBERT WOOD and THOMAS WOOD, both of County of Richmond, by these presents make over confirme and make sure unto ROBERT WOOD and THOMAS WOOD theire heires all my right title and interest of a parcell of land scituate in Parish of FARNHAM and County of Richmond upon the Westerne side of FARNHAM CREEKE formerly granted by his late Excellency Sr. WM. BERKELEY, then Governour of Virga: unto Capt. DAVID MANSFIELD and ROBERT FRISTOW both deced To have and to hold the parcell of land from me HENRY BLAGGRAVE my heires from all manner of persons lay any clayme unto the land and to save harmless and indemnified said ROBERT WOOD and THOMAS WOOD their heires In Wittnesse whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and Seale this 16th day of August Ano: 1706

KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that I HENRY BLAGGRAVE of County of YORK do owe and stand indebted firmly by these presents unto ROBERT WOOD and THOMAS WOOD both of the County of Richmond theire heires the full and just summe of Six thousand pounds of every way well conditioned S: S: tobgbacco in caske convenient to Water in Richmond County to which payment I bind myselfe my heirs as Wittness my hand and seale
this 16th day of August 1706
The Condition of the above obligation is such that if HENRY BLAGGRAVE his heires do keep harmless and indemnified ROBERT WOOD and THOMAS WOOD theire heires from all manner of trouble relateing to a parcell of land as by an Instrument may appeare and do cause that Instrument of Writing to be lawfully acknowledged in open Court then
this obligation to be voyd and of none effect otherways to remaine in full force Signed and sealed in presence of

KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that I HENRY BLAGGRAVE of the County of YORK do make and constitute HENRY JENINGS of the County of Richmond my true and lawfull Attorney for me in my name to acknowledge unto ROBERT WOOD and THOMAS WOOD both of County of Richmond theire heires all my right title and interest of a parcell of land as by an Instrument of Writing beareing date with these presents may appeare granting my Attorney my full power as if I my se1fe were personally present As Wittness my hand and seale this 16th day of August 1706
