      Indenture made November 30, 1782; William Tongue, shoemaker in consideration of 6000 pounds of crop tobacco paid by William Johnson Greer has sold part of a tract called "Turrell and Bowling Green Enlarged" containing 60-1/8 acres and bounded by land now in the possession of Mary Boteler widow of Thomas Boteler called "Londonderry". Signed William Tong in the presence of and acknowledged before Thomas Clagett, John Brown and at the same time Eleanor Tong w/o William Tong relinquished her right of dower
