Henry Threlkeld of FC, merchant, recorded 11 Feb. 1757. Made 9 Sept. 1756 between John
Chisholm of SMC taylor, and Sabina his wife, and late widow of Benjamin Stoddert. Witnessed that the said Stoddert by his deed made 18 Aug. 1746 conveyed to George Gordon a tract at south end of 600 acres, part of the "Dividend," belonging to Benjamin Stoddert, or of a tract called "Friendship," being originally granted to Thomas Addison and James Stoddert gentleman, deceased; and whereas the said George Gordon by deed executed 22 December 1750 conveyed the above 400 acres of land unto James Dick attorney in fact of William Black, merchant in London, for uses and purposes mentioned in said deed; and the said George Gordon and James Dicks by their deed executed 3 Oct. 1752 made over said tract of400 acres to Henry Threlkeld, now this indenture witnesses that John Chisholm and Sabina his wife, widow of Benja. Stoddert, for the confIrmation and making sure quiet possession ofthe said 400 acres unto Henry Threlkeld for 12 pS GB, released tract. Signed John Chisholm, Sabina Chisholm. Receipt. AF paid.
