To all to whom .. Know ye therefore that I JOHN WOOD of Charles County in Province of Maryland being seized of 2960 acres of land as of Fee lying in Stafford County in Colony of Virga. & between ye branches of Pooles Run & Neighapasco which land I. formerly purchased of HENRY WALKER & afterwards renewed the said Walkers pattent in the Honble Proprietors office as will and may more largely appear by a pattent bearing date 13th day March anno 1695 for divers good causes but more especially in consideration that JOHN KILLINGSWORTH married my second daughter ELIZA. & for the natural affection I bear to my daughter have given unto John Killingsworth 400 acres of land it being part of the tract abovesd & in the county eforesd bounded .. beginning at a marked red oak it being a corner tree of EDWD. WILLIAMS & extending thence NNE 200 poles to a corner tree thence WNW=20 poles thence SSW 200 poles thence ESE 320 poles to the first beginning .. this 13th day Decr. 1705.
