      WILL OF WILLIAM SUM[M]ERTON
      In the Name of God Amen. The Thirteenth day of November in the year of our Lord God One Thousand Seven Hundred and Forty One, I William Sumerton of the County of King George and Parish of Brunswick, Planter, being aged sick and weak in body but of perfect mind and memory thanks be given unto God therefore . . . do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament
      Imprimis: I do give and bequeath unto my loving wife Rebecca Summerton all my lands in King George County or else where to her and her heirs and assigns forever. Likewise all and every part of my personal estate of what kind and quality soever I do hereby give to my said loving wife desireing she may pay all my just debts.
      Lastly I do appoint my said Loving Wife Executrix and my Loving friend William Thornton Executor of this my last Will and Testament and I do hereby revoke and disallow all former wills or a Testament by me heretofore made. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seale the day and year above written.
